The covenant have just arrived in UNSC space and have taken the harsh planet Radeon, the planet is meaningless to the UNSC, but showing cowardice in the face of this new enemy could prove fatal. A lone squad of 5 armed with assault rifles(fully automatic rifles, strong at close range) and sniper rifles (one shot to the head to bring down any opponent, two to the chest of a brute or elite, one shot kill to grunts) remain on the planet, awaiting rescue by the 'Avenger' UNSC Frigate and its marines to come to their aide, the officers find the mission to be a hopeless case and are sparing minimum vehicles and soldiers with two teams of ODST (two per team) armed battle rifles (three shot burst scoped rifles, three bursts to bring down a brute two bursts to bring down an elite, less than a full burst to bring down a grunt).

Weapons for Marines on planet: 5 Assault Rifles, 4 Sniper Rifles, Single Rocket Launcher (first come first serve no more than two weapons only one of selected weapon)
Weapons and Vehicles for ODST Squads: 2 Battle Rifles, 4 pistols, 8 frag [concussion] grenades (divided equally), two rocket launchers, Warthog (armored jeep with no doors) with gattling cannon -open hood-(t1), Warthog Troop Carrier, room for six passengers -open hood- (t2)

Ammunition: Four rockets per launcher, 180 bullets per assault rifle and battle rifle -a clip is 30 bullets-, 24 bullets per pistol (clip is 6 bullets), Sniper Rifles have 36 bullets per rifle with four bullets to a clip, team ones Warthog starts out with 600 bullets and may be fed assault rifle and battle rifle ammo.

Marine Camoflauge and Armor: Snow White Armor and Helmets (Sergeant you lucky fellow will be allowed to demand weapons and ammo from other of the marine squad, not the ODSTs), black face mask and inner suit that maintains body heat.

ODST Camoflauge and Armor: Charcoal Black Armor and Helmets that cover entire head with a black visor, inner suit that maintains body heat.

Planetary Conditions: Radeon is a harsh planet currentely in mid winter, the storms are frighteningly cold. The terrain is mountainous with a great deal of iced over lakes and pine trees (CHRISTMAS TREES HOORAY), much rubble, large rocks, and cliffs to be used for strategic advantage.

Enemies (The Covenant): Armed with plasma rifles, pistols, and explosive needle guns, as well as a massive plasma launching gun carried by Brutes -destroys vehicles immediately-. Brute Packs travel in groups of four brutes and eight grunts. Elite Squads travel in groups of six elites and three grunts. Packs are dropped down through ships called Shadows which are armed with large rapid firing plasma weaponry (best to take down with rockets or avoid).

Set-up: All marines will start out awakening inside their downed Pelican -UNSC Troop Transport Ship- surrounded by their dead comrades and weapons scattered across the troop bay. Players will pick up the weapons previously selected in the planning thread.

ODST will start out boarding their Pelicans from the 'Avenger' Team one will be one one pelican with their Heavy Machine Gun turret Warthog, and Team two will be boarding the other with their troop transport Warthog already armed with their weapons before boarding.

!CAUTION!: You cannot be a Spartan, halo fans, and the likes, you are limited to the ground force marines, and ODST. The ODST are on a rescue mission because they were near the planet on the return trip to Earth. I will post my own character tomorrow.
